Questions
Is 17° Stormo or NOCS harder to get into?
The two tests have no directly comparable events, so the minimums cannot be ranked against each other. These are only the published fitness minimums; selection itself, medical and other requirements differ, and passing the minimum does not guarantee selection.
How do the 17° Stormo and NOCS fitness tests differ?
17° Stormo: 12 events (run 400, pull-ups, push 20kg, plank 20kg, deadlift, lunges, run 3k, rope 5m, casualty, swim 100, float, underwater). NOCS: 4 events (run 5k, sprint 100, high jump, long jump).
Does 17° Stormo or NOCS pay more?
17° Stormo: €2,901/month (Sergente Maggiore (parametro 121,50) · standard); NOCS: €2,709/month (Assistente (parametro 112,00) · standard) (default scenarios, gross). The default scenarios use different ranks and seniority, so this is not a like-for-like comparison — set the same rank in the pay calculator on each unit page.
