Enter your results, age and sex. The calculator scores each event on the official PFT tables in MCO 6100.13A, adds them up to a maximum of 300 and shows your class. Combat arms Marines can check the 210-point standard on the male tables.
Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test (PFT): the rules
- The PFT has three events: pull-ups or push-ups, plank and a 3-mile run. Push-ups score at most 70 points; pull-ups up to 100.

- The plank has one table for everyone: 3:45 earns 100 points, 1:10 earns 40.
- Recruits are always scored on the 17–20 table.
- From 1 January 2026, Marines in combat arms specialties are scored on the male tables for their age group, with a minimum of 210 points (MARADMIN 613/25). The 5,000 m row alternative is not covered here.

FAQ
Pull-ups or push-ups — which should I choose?
Pull-ups can earn up to 100 points, push-ups at most 70. On the same total, choosing push-ups costs you at least 30 points of headroom.
How is each event scored?
The official tables list results and the points they earn for each age group. A result earns the points of the best table row it reaches: the run is listed in 10-second steps, so 18:05 scores like 18:10. A result below the lowest row in the table earns no points.
What is a 1st class PFT?
235 points or more out of 300. MARSOC screening asks for a 1st class PFT for your age group.
Where do the numbers come from?
From MCO 6100.13A with Administrative Change 5 (memo of 28 May 2025) on marines.mil, extracted mechanically from the PDF; the tables are unchanged from Change 4 (23 March 2022). The combat arms rule is from MARADMIN 613/25 (18 December 2025).
