Entry requirements and the path to selection
The Naval Special Warfare Development Group, known as DEVGRU or SEAL Team Six, is the US Navy’s special missions unit. The Navy publishes no recruiting page, entry requirements or fitness standards for it. Its existence is confirmed in official pay documents, and secondary sources agree that it selects only from serving Navy SEALs — so the published standard on the way there is the SEAL candidate test.
This unit does not publish fitness standards for its selection. This page lists only what official sources say.
